Elijah The Prophets Encounter With God

1Ki 19:11
And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; [but] the LORD [was] not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; [but] the LORD [was] not in the earthquake:

1Ki 19:12
And after the earthquake a fire; [but] the LORD [was] not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

1Ki 19:13
And it was [so], when Elijah heard [it], that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, [there came] a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?

He That Has Ears, Let Him Hear

Does God speak today, or has He lost His voice? Did God only speak to the prophets of old, the apostles, the characters in the bible? Is God a respecter of persons?

Are we listening to hear God's voice? Are we seeking to have ears that hear the voice of God? Are we setting time aside in our busy day and life to share fellowship with God, and hear His voice.

The following is a very short version of a bible study listen on the home page of this site.

Mar 4:9 And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Mar 4:23 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

Mar 7:16 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

Luk 8:8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Luk 14:35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; [but] men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Luk 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth [it].

Rev 2:29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Rev 3:6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Rev 3:13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Rev 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Rev 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.

Every Tongue Should Confess

Phl 2:11 And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Have you confessed Jesus Christ as Lord to the Glory of God? If your answer is yes, that is awesome, you have the promise of eternal life. If your answer is no, it's never to late.

Blessings, in Christ Jesus, the Lord.

Do All To The Glory Of God

1Cr 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Just imagine a people that seeks to do all things to the Glory of God. Within their relationships with one another, between husbands and wives, between parents and children, in the work place, out in the general public, through conversations and words spoken.

Not one sidedness, but a people so on fire for God, so in love with God, and so determined to be pleasing in the sight of God. It must be that way in heaven.

May heaven come to earth.

The Glory Of The Lord

2Ch 5:14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.

I love the above scripture. I am reminded of the many times of corporate worship when the saints come together to worship the Lord, and how God inhabits the praises of His people.

May your times of worship as you gather together in one accord with others in Christ be filled with the Glory of His presence.

Blessings, in Christ.
